Dr Chris Matthew
Chris has had a life-long passion for space, space history, aerospace technology, astronomy and astrophysics. He holds a PhD in Ancient History from Macquarie University, a Master of Science degree, with a specialization in Astronomy, from the University of Southern Queensland, a PhD in astrophysics, from Western Sydney University, and a Graduate Certificate of Space Operations from The Australian Defence Force Academy. Chris has also worked part-time at the Penrith Observatory, where he assisted in the delivery of their public outreach programs to school groups and members of the public, and held a position on the governing council of the Astronomical Society of Australia (ASA) from 2019 to 2021. A former university lecturer, Chris has delivered hundreds of lectures to both students and members of the general public over the years on a vast range of topics.
